I have emerged victorious

As yesterday has marked a moment of my celestial journey

For I have yet again soared around our beloved sun

Whatever waves that may have rocked my vessel;

Are purely those of which I’ve created

As much had seemed dire and misaligned

My path among the stars stayed true

24 years and one day ago, I began upon a journey

And one day I will lay down to end it

With any luck I will have soared around the sun

Many more times before that will happen
