Poem #02

What becomes of the world when the abstract controls reality

To believe in a foundation no sturdier than a mirage

All eyes willingly see through kaleidoscopes

Focused more on a dazzling appearance, rather than the truth

Although veracity can be ugly, unsatisfying and difficult to endure it is real

People want a brilliant lie over authenticity

Blinded by the belief that more entertainment is not more distractions

We’ve clogged our mind beyond reason

Too busy grasping at a vaporous dream

Our lives go by, unlived
